More about hypnotherapy
While hypnosis is seen in the popular imagination as something exotic and out of the ordinary, the reality is that we all experience hypnosis many times a day – whenever our attention is focused on our inner experience, rather than what is going on in the world around us (like when we daydream), and whenever our attention is intensely focused on something or someone else (for example when we are watching TV or or deep in conversation with a friend).
Hypnotherapy is the use of that state to make positive changes in our lives. When people experience hypnotherapy for the first time, they are usually surprised at how normal – and enjoyable – it feels.
Hypnotherapists usually ask people to relax in a hypnotherapy session, because it is when we are in a relaxed state that we are most open to thinking about difficult situations, learning, and changing the way we think. However, we can also use hypnotherapy to help you to get in touch with feelings of excitement, enjoyment, or other positive emotional states.
Roger was warm and friendly and extremely professional. He has helped me immensely in a short period of time with my mental and emotional well being. I would highly recommend him to those in need of mental and emotional help including traumas. He is an exceptionally intelligent individual.
